Risk mitigation: DAN’s Dive Safe Officer
DAN’s Dive Safe Officer course helps diving professionals understand and mitigate hazards and risks. The course covers technical, liability, and medical issues as well as emergency planning, safety monitoring, and more over a 40-hour period. The Dive Safety Officer’s role is to assist in mitigating risks in dive operations, but ultimate safety responsibility lies with the owner or manager.
