‘Russian spy’ white beluga whale ‘shot dead’ off Norway

A white beluga whale named Hvaldimir was found dead off Norway’s coast, with claims he died from gunshot wounds. Hvaldimir gained fame after being spotted with a harness marked “Equipment St Petersburg,” suggesting he was involved in Russian spying. Conservationists are pushing for a police investigation into his death, suspecting it was a criminal act. Hvaldimir was known for his friendly behavior towards humans, which unfortunately put him at risk in busy shipping areas. An autopsy will determine the true cause of death.
