SEI International to Unveil New eLearning Platform at DEMA Show

Scuba Educators International (SEI) will launch a new eLearning platform at the DEMA Show. This initiative aims to modernize scuba training while retaining essential classroom instruction. Mandatory classroom training will still be required to help students better retain knowledge and become more comfortable divers. By allowing students to complete eLearning before class, SEI can extend in-water training, improving the diver experience. SEI believes that over-reliance on computer-based learning has led to accidents and dropout rates, and aims to restore emphasis on hands-on instructor-led training.
