Shark Reproduction

Sharks use a lot of energy to produce a few well-developed young. They reproduce in three main ways: oviparity (egg-laying), ovoviviparity, and viviparity (live birth). In oviparity, females lay eggs in a protective case, allowing embryos to develop and hatch after several months.
