UB-88 Retrospective – Part II
The UB-88 wreck is deteriorating rapidly. A study comparing 3D models from 2021 and 2024 shows significant erosion. Changes are most noticeable in the outer and inner hull. This increased deterioration suggests a more accelerated degradation process. Future dives into the wreck could be more dangerous due to this condition.
