Wreck Interior Studies – Part II (HMCS Yukon Engine Room)
The HMCS Yukon engine room study began with dives to create a detailed model. The first dive focused on connecting the engine room to the ship’s exterior, taking 157 photos. The second dive collected an additional 550 photos, totaling 800, to depict the engine room accurately. Techniques like removing the model’s exterior “skin” allowed viewers to see the engine room in detail as part of a new photogrammetry project.
