A Malaysian diver, Haikal Rafie Halim, drowned off Pulau Weh, Indonesia. He was diving with friends when they encountered a strong underwater current. The group struggled to safely ascend at a depth of 30 meters. Haikal panicked and rushed to the surface without control. Despite CPR efforts, he was pronounced dead later that day.
